LOL!

i kinda think though that london kids using these words do not sound 'pansy' though. especially considering it literally IS their dialect that they have grown up with. i don't see how it is pansy when (minus the jamaican patois) they came up with the words...

as a society, the americans are still somewhat primitive, our language has been developing over hundreds of years which is why we are funnier than them and also why so many americans fail to grasp things such as sarcasm. Its not a dig to them its just a fact, theyre language has developed over what, 300 years? Its only right that we are better at making up slang words and using them appropriately than they are.

But its cool guys - your cars are real big. You've got some real big cars there guys, real big cars! Who needs hundreds of years of language and culture development when you can go out n get a big fuck off chevvy at 16 and fill the tank up with a tenner out your 'allowance' and still have change left over for a taco bell.

Its called pocket money you stnuc.

Sorry, I know you're probably being funny and I'm a loyal English speaker, but this is ridiculous. Their language has been evolving for *exactly* the same amount of time as ours! It's just that the last 300 years of their linguistic evolution has been done in America - don't forget that their language was exported from Britain in the first place- Shakespeare is as much their linguistic history as ours!

If you're gonna have a shot at American-English, there are much easier targets. Why do they say "I could care less about that"? It's "I couldn't care less" - i.e. I don't care at all! Mental...

I hate to be unpatriotic but I suspect the English language is the same age in America as it is here.

'we guys use them' because they are our own language... surely it cant be cringe hearing a londoner speak like a londer. funny, somehow, to you, maybe, but i dont see how that could ever be cringe.

and 'im gonna kick your poncey soul all the way down that tunnel til you choke on your own fucked up ribs', for example, sounds ... what did you say ... pansy?

Also. make references to sub bass whenever you can. this will show your ranking in the dubstep society. people that say the sub bass needs to be louder generally are cooler and have larger than life reproductive organs.

Also. If you have a gangster hoodie, i suggest putting it on low across your face and taking some myspace profile pictures.

For a master lass in "dub speak" read the Skream La Roux Gold thread, some great cliches in there.

Jokes.
