I do appreciate other genres but I find it hard enough to keep track of just the dubstep scene let alone any others

my best advise for this subject is...
dont treat this forum as gospel and when buying music!!! use your own opinion not other peoples!!!
you be a more respected dj

On the other hand, it can be pretty depressing wading through the generic crap to find that one gem

You gotta break a lot of rocks to find yourself a precious stone. Every DJ worth his/her weight in wax is a beat miner.

I dunno, since ive got into the scene, I have digged deep and found those golden tunes what many people might not have cause they're so far in the back of the crate - not to say I don't like mr big time producers tunes but some of those unknown producers are doing some prolific things ! and the best dubstep tune is whatever tune you tend to play the most !

I didn't read the whole thread, so I'm sorry if this has been said already.
I just think that a small problem with what was mentioned in the first post is that not everybody is from a city/town where they can get local exposure to the tunes that they might end up liking.
If this thread is going to be stickied, then I think the first post should contain links to several online radio stations where newbies can get a fill of every area of the genre.

With all this chatter advocating a more selective, discerning approach to buying your dubstep, let's be sure to give it up to those nasty mofuggin tracks that make you clench the armrests of your seat like a criminal in the electric chair, make a sour face and freakin rage to the sound!
Can I get a hell yeah??
Testify!!

This has probably been summed up about 500 times already but heres my 2 cents
Music should be about personality and personal tastes not following trends or fitting in scenes.
Also im new, hi.

Yes. Please quit asking what is good. If we all knew what "good" was ourselves there would be a lot less threads.
Maybe 1 thread for recommendations or something would be nice, a sticky or something. Otherwise, just please stop. Buy the stuff in my signature, it's all rather popular and awesome, regardless of what people might say
Pay for music. If you're here asking us which Dubstep tunes are the best, you already know that you like Dubstep enough to be buying some. Buy some.

Truth. There's not much I won't listen to except honky-tonk country, reggaeton, and U2. I fucking hate U2.
