This is very bad news, Dubstep must be super un-trendy now, if antisocials been fired theres no hope for anyone in the scene.

Big respect to all the Antisocial crew, especially G Double for being so positive and Jay Five for being such a bad man week in week out no fail.

Sad news! Hope Jay5ive and G Double get another radio show. World would be a worse place without the unorthadox boogie!

This decision really needs to be revised.

The sort of music they play on the show really needs the exposure to the public at this level, really would be a shame for people to miss out on this sound.

Not only is it an amazing show, always playing great music and featuring great guests but it's also a fantastic platform to hear up and coming material from new artists (as well as the established ones).

Really hope they can re think the decision and keep this show going.

Huge respect to Jay 5ive & G Double!

It's all the more bizarre as they were the only dubstep show left on Rinse pushing this particular side of the scene with the possible exception of Crises. Can't believe that room couldn't have been made for them somewhere on the schedule, even if they were to alternate with one of the umpteen funky shows.

I think the way rinse deal with schedule changes is really unprofessional for a legal radio station. From what I'm aware they just tell the djs to stop turning up a few days before their show. No announcement from the station to the listeners that they'll be going, we have to work it out ourselves when their podcasts aren't appearing on the site. Least they could do would be to give a big public thanks to Jay 5ive and G Double for all their years of service.

dunno whether i agree with it (especially in this case)

lets just hope they find another station or maybe moved to a new timeslot (or in the worst case their timeslot filled with something thats decent & not funky)

Antisocial was the only show on rinse I actively try and listen to.

As you may have gathered, DJ Jay 5ive and myself will no longer be doing the Anti Social Show on Rinse FM. Thank you to all of the listeners and special guests we've had over the years. Thanks to all the great producers who's records Jay 5ive has played and thanks to the Rinse Fm staff. We will continue doing what we love and will start doing a Free downloadable podcast for the people. This is not the end by any means. Jay 5ive, Anti Social and myself have loads of exciting things in the pipeline so watch this space! Peace love and blessings to you all! 

definitely an odd decision especially at a time where Jay 5ive is looking at a Deep Medi release, but Geeneus has always been a real guy so not sure what to make of it really...

also can't have been doing that badly ratings-wise...there are bare shows on rinse I've listened to that only give about 5 shout outs the whole show, antisocial was always packed with listeners it seemed

Only Heny G's show on flex left over in London playing this kind of sound... such a shame because I really enjoyed the different styles antisocial also played (chestplate and tectonic 'dungeon' stuff too).

What a massive loss to rinse; as a long time listener I want to say big up and keep it moving...could be a positive in the long run if the workrate stays high

Also how actually popular are all the 100000 funky shows on rinse? I've never even tuned into one of them, surely they must be massively popular for there to be a zillion of them?

the other day i read deapoh's topic regard that issue years ago.

On topic, Out too Jay 5ive, G Double, Kromestar, Silkie, Quest & the Anti-social family, keeping it real since the start, was one of the few rinse shows i'd actually try and bother to listen too, playing such a fresh sound, so many exclusives, so much vibe.
being on the otherside of the world, i don't get the opportunity to easily lock too shows, but this, this one was worth it.

i hope for rinse's sake, this decision was worth it, because unfortunately i think this was one of their most special shows.

Can't believe Anti-Social wont be on Rinse anymore! I've been saying they should give Jay a Rinse CD for ages now!

There doesn't seem to be any bitterness though, and we don't really know the situation, so I don't think we should start slagging off Geeneus.

Hopefully this will give them more time to really pull together and get a lot more Anti-Social music out there.
