yeah but weve spent this whole thread explaining why that won't happenl
It already has, I know from personal observation coming from Manchester that there's a chronic shortage of jobs/social housing directly due to immigration. I've also given my own statistics on immigration and public housing. And argued that they impose their own culture on us but don't want to embrace ours.

(Sources: DWP NiNo registrations, August 2013 & Quarterly Statistical Summary, August 2013)

first shows that immigrant housing recipients are clearly a small percentage, almost negligible compared to british ricipients
second shows that british people are anywhere from about two to three times more likely to claim benefits than a foreigner

and yet you call them a "drain on society"?

As I say I know from personal observation of trying to get factory work/picker packer work when I was looking. No chance unless you're Polish. I know my brother waited on the social housing list for 2 years and ended up in a proper shit area when all around migrants are getting housed. 77% of the nation want immigration reduced. Seventy seven. I'm not the only one saying it, people from all walks of life of all colours and creeds are saying it the British are getting continually undercut enough is enough

anecdotal evidence is called anecdotal for a reason

anecdotal /anikˈdōtl/
not necessarily true or reliable, based on personal accounts rather than facts or research.

just look at the charts above... youre obviously wrong (facts > subjective observations)

Those figures are misleading they don't include illegals, children etc- there's not that many empty properties in Manchester yet the immigrants are still coming. Notice how the figures are reduced in the second year? That's because we have a chronic lack of social housing to claim for in the first place.

Why does 77% of the UK voting body want to reduce immigration if it's so useful to us?

And that covers people from all social backgrounds, of all races and all educational backgrounds, before you say they're all "racist bigots"

In argumentation theory, an argumentum ad populum (Latin for "appeal to the people") is a fallacious argument that concludes a proposition to be true because many or most people believe it. In other words, the basic idea of the argument is: "If many believe so, it is so."

It's cold hard stats, you can't use an umbrella term to counter act a stat like that.

What are you on about a second year for. Both charts are for the same year, 2013.

Where's this 77% come from as well? Show your sources

his head is too far up his ass to read the graph correctly and he thought that "existing tenants" part of the chart was a second year

also from what ive read online, in order to be eligible for social housing in the UK, you need to be a legal/documented immigrant, so there goes his "those numbers are misleading" attempt at an argument

Yeah illegal immigrants don't get shit because the government doesn't know they exist. I've met asylum seekers and refugees, they essentially get put in jail until the government decides what to do with them
