Tonight is what it all comes down to. What football is all about.
Away to Doncaster on a Friday night. And it's not even on TV.

doncaster have got a decent ground nowadays
you should have been when they played at belle vue- now that was what it was all about- especially when it rained. And your team lost 3-0.

Anybody tuning in to Barca vs. Milan tonight?

Beginning to think that if Blues can beat West Ham and Reading in our remaining games, we might stand a chance of automatic promotion.
Last time we were promoted, we played Reading on the last day of the season, winner going up automatically.

Hoping Chelsea get through now just to see them get annihilated.

I support any english team in Europe except Tottenham so wouldn't mind seeing Chelsea beat Barca. It would never happen though..

Stranger things have happened.
Like Andy Carroll getting regular first team play.

Bear in mind Barcelona automatically have 12 men on the pitch for every game.
Whenever i need a laugh i think of Dalglish's signings

£100m on Carroll, Suarez, and Henderson, Adam and Downing. Only Suarez has the talent to push Liverpool on, the rest are mid table players at best. It would take probably another £100m to get them challenging for the top 4 again.

I always find that quite odd, although I know a lot of people who support any English team in Europe. Supporting Man Utd, I have gathered such a hatred for the usual top 4, because of the rivalry (Arsenal, Chelsea,
Livepool Spurs). Maybe it's cause I'm Irish and I hate the English
And yes seeing Chelsea getting outclassed will be very enjoyable, especially after United getting outclassed in their last two finals.

Overall for English football it makes sense to want them all to get as far as possible
as our performances in Europe dictate our UEFA co-efficient and hence our places
available. Last season we were close to getting a 5th place Champion's league slot,
which would have meant the top 3 auto-qualify and the next 2 get play-off places.
Which would mean more money flooding into the UK from the competition.
IF you can put your grievances aside it makes sense for top flight footie in this country.
It's so glaringly obvious right now that the Barca top brass and UEFA are fucking
eachother, no other teams really get a chance to win it at the moment. It's a sham.
In fact, it makes me realise more and more that Mourinho's CL final win with Inter was
a lifetime achievement. On that night his team not only beat the best team in club
football, he also beat the conspiracy behind closed doors for Barca to sweep everyone
before them. The first Barca pen was not a pen 6/10 times and Milan also deserved a
pen themselves which was denied. It's becoming fucking ridiculous and there's no point
in trying to win the competition atm.
Plus (on a side note) UEFA REALLLLLLY fucking hate Wenger. He's clearly only in it for
the money, I realised he's not even trying to win it any more. The reason they sanction him
left right and centre is to get him to shup up, which he won't do, and he clearly has issues
with Platini. It makes sense to get as far as you can and then invest the money earned in
the right players.
They may as well call it the UEFA FCB league.

a) Do you think Arsenal are a CL winning team?
No, me neither.
b) Have you seen how the club is being run atm?
Break-even, poor contracts, unequal revenue streams still reliant on
match-day and broadcasting rights.
It makes sense to take the team as far as they can go, but the target that
Wenger has set by the board as a minimum is "Last 16." Anything above that
is a bonus for the club in terms of monetary gains.
If the club were to fail to qualify at all, one season without this is OK,
but detrimental to procuring new talent. Two seasons without this, and we're
in as much shit as Everton/Villa. A scenario of Arsenal over-reaching in CL could
mean the loss of Premier League position (as Chelsea are experiencing atm) without
the added guarantee of winning the trophy (because of the Barca butt-fucking
love in w/ UEFA) and gaining the auto-entrance to the next competition.
Ergo - he's not trying to win it.
