what do you use raposa? is it clay or something? i was trying to think of who else it reminded me of and it's that black kid from new york, Basquiat. i love him, his stuff is awesome. i don't know if you have ever heard of him, he never did any sort of art school, that's why they call it Art Brut (raw art). check out some of his work here:

no no I don't use clay or anything special... I draw with a simple pen, and then I color it on the computer.
The "Unplug the robot" was colored by hand (not the helmet) but the others where in Photoshop.
That Basquiat is cool!

wicked vibe from that new cover aswell horse. i used to have a reccuring dream with a junkyard scene that looked a bit like that if it was nightime and blue tinted.
