2012-06-16 - Luke Slater (Mote Evolver, Ostgut Ton) @ Fabric - London The restless dj/producer has always sought out the extreme, often melding influences and styles into a furious and unique sound that has seen him acclaimed as one of the pioneers of British techno. He is also widely known for his Planetary Assault Systems alias and released his new, really excellent P.A.S. album “The Messenger” on Berlin´s much respected Ostgut Ton imprint earlier this year. An amazing P.A.S. remix of MOTOR feat. Martin L. Gore “Man Made Machine” was actually released a few weeks ago on CLR as a digital EP as well as a one sided, strictly limited edition picture disc.Since his first release,he has been on a constant quest of exploration and musical discovery, putting out numerous sonically quite varied, quality records.

Dave Clarke (Skint Records) @ Area X - Awakenings Festival 2012, Spaarnwoude - Amsterdam (30.06.12) One and only true master of electronic music, his imagination has no limits and that's what made him so special (original). But now he became even more crazyer an sicker than ever before... Clarke has a well-deserved reputation as one of the best techno and electro DJs in the world but he’s always been an outsider, from his stormy childhood in the 1980s to his tempestuous relationship with the media today.
Dave Clarke played after DJ Rush in the Area X of Awakenings Festival from 18.15 - 20.00!
There is a new version of Second Phase - Mentasm floating around. Dave Clarke played it recently at Awakenings. A nice little rehash of the classic. It's the 2nd to last tune: Soundcloud
