You can create amazing growls in massive without modern talking.
yes you can, but you can have much more automation and variety in your sounds with fm synthesis, so i don't see the point of fiddling the knobs of massive for hours

Oh sure thing. I just happened to start with massive and came across some cool ways to get dece sounds.

The funny thing about Massive's modern talking and other vowely WTs is that they're rendered waveshapes that were totally created with FM synthesis.
The Skrillex sound is all FM synthesis and Vocoders. That's all there is to the basics of it.

Nah it's Sylenth...or at least I'm 90% sure of it. Made a patch that's literally completely identical. Fun to mess with. Will upload it later cause I'm sick of people saying they know shit and refusing to back it up with samples haha. But yeah everyone kind of covered it, lfo on pitch does the trick for the most part.

Lead sound in SMANS is a preset in sylenth called screamer or something with the reverb and delay turned off
