I didn't know Flux Pavillion and Doctor P fans knew what a record label is? Chances are they just reached that question and then looked up to see what label Bass Cannon was released on.

Only 3 of those 'winners' seem accurate, the rest are laughable

No disrespect to Rod Azlan, he is defo up there as one of the better hosts, but the people voting must have such limited mental capabilities that they saw the word host and say that the DMAs had a host and just put 2 and 2 together!!

People only voted for rod azlan because he hosts for caspa, no disrespect though because i do like him. Rinse should have got best radio station and ive never heard of filth.fm.

Ha, the results of these polls always surprise me but It is a vote, so the results are reflected in exactly that.

I don't spend a lot of time on the main board nowadays, but there is definitely a difference in the styles people are into i'm sure.

a few points.

If you don't agree with the concept of the awards, don't validate them by a) getting pissed off at them when it was very obvious who was going to win b) being pleased that DMZ won best event, as that then validates the rest of the awards and c) bad mouthing people like Rod Azlan because (in your opinion) he's not THE best host, again don't validate the results this way.

The less attention everyone gives this the less credible it is.

Obvious gash for cash was obvious. Dubstep was already dead before this shit anyway and there is no way DSF is best website/blog for anything... apart from shameless promotion of shyte.

Did they say that the rewards weren't just for past year, but like, ever? If so, what do they mean by breakthrough artist? Because if it's ever, literally any of the bigger names in the scene could win it. Koan Sound's been around for ages, and is massive now.

I don't think these awards are valid, because I don't get what most of the categories actually mean.
