link wasnt working, working now
the intro is promising.. nice 'speech' - fits perfectly. the synth is absolutely heavy man! what might be even heavier is, if you'd underlay it with a sub that goes with it.matthewcradduck wrote: Soundcloud
intro seems a bit too long for me as it isn't really builing up - it's just ''there''.
first thing i've heard is the kick that somehow doesn't realy fit into the track - imho it needs a dryer one or with less release (in the end of the kick the kick seems to 'bounce')kidshuffle wrote:Soundcloud
This is me and my roommates attempt at the "purple" sound I suppose
woah! this is SICK! that bass is absolutley massive! you gonna be throwing any 320's about?
this is seriously nice and chilled, really feeling the synth and the clap soaked in reverb sounds really nice
thanks mate - i actually hand out copies of my tracks just to very, very few people tbh. (my philosophy, not to spread my shit as wide as possible)singlepoint wrote:woah! this is SICK! that bass is absolutley massive! you gonna be throwing any 320's about?
the voices in this are sick aswell - seriously keep this vibe. seriously massive tune.

I like the snare, but maybe take the delay/echo off it? It's something I've noticed in all your tunes (check them on Soundcloud when they pop up as I'm not on here all the time) is that you have a habit of doing that. I mean it's effective every now and again, but don't do it all the time. Just trying to be contructive, I fall into technique/sound traps myself a lot and have to stop myself using the same snare, or going wubwubwubwub.j-one wrote:@phrex - Tune is massive! Bass sounds sick, love the vocals... all works together really well. Big ups.
@hayze - Fitting name, definitely on a dream world vibe... really laid back, feeling it!
@singlepoint - Liking the atmosphere in this, sub drives it along nicely.. dunno if I was entirely convinced by the percs later on... nice rhythm just wasn't sure of the sound.
Last one I've been working on... not sure if the snares in the intro sound a bit cheap?
