asked my mum to pick up doom 3 bfg on her way home from work yesterday. comes home with RAGE aswell. apparently GAME (uk) are giving away free copies of RAGE with doom 3. £25 for doom 3 remastered, doom 3 RoE, doom 3 lost missions, doom 1, doom 2 and RAGE. fucking wicked deal!

I honestly don't care, I'm playing on Xbox and I'm not the kind of person that will say a game is bad because it doesn't have 'advanced graphic settings and mod support out the box'. Modders have and always will find a way. I recently has this debate about resi ORC with a guy I know who is a perfectionist gamer. He bashed the story and the characters and said it was a bad game because of the setting. He hasn't even played it. I'm so fed up of people whining and shit over really menial things. At the end I the day, I paid 25 quid for three full games and two expansion packs. The games are fun. That's why I bought them. Reviewing a HD re-release of a previous title is retarded anyway IMO

Well they removed features like dynamic lighting on all versions, console & PC, there's quite a few issues with it tbh that makes it seem like nothing but a cash grab.
It's supposed to be an upgrade, not a downgrade, and I'm an ID fanboy through and through, but they've been on a downswing lately.
