Could be because of the attack on your sound?

I found out how to factory reset the device and it started to work again.
Easiest solution for the biggest problem.
However, I can't map kong's drum pads correctly. My controller has 8 soft touch buttons that respond to kong, but pad 2 on the controller corresonds to pad 3 on kong, pad 3 to pad 7, and so on. When I go into keyboard control edit mode it looks as if kong's pads aren't map-able.
Is there no way to map the device as I see fit?

Got Reason 6 not too long ago and I'm new to using the audio tracks.
When I'm layering drum hits, what I used to do was eq/layer the hits, make a small loop of them, bounce to audio, import into audacity, chop the samples + export, then import back into Reason.
Can I completely avoid using audacity now? If so, how do I go about setting up 'capturing' my audio directly from Reason?

You can select any mix track or audio track as an input onto another audio track by turning on the 'rec source' button of the mix/audio track you want to record. If it's on then it can be selected as input on a audiotrack. You can find this button on the mix/audio track under the small meter when you are in the rack view.
You can also use the sampling input on the back of the hardware interface in you want to record into a sampler (nn-xt, nn-19, kong, redrum). Just route the output of the device you want to record into the sampling input and hit the 'wave' button on the sampler. It's next to the folder button where you load samples.

You might have to be a bit less vague.

anyone got any ideas on whats going on? (it was fine yesterday and i dont think ive done anything to the settings or anything)
*edit: Fixed temporarily by starting the export on bar 2

Icicles masterclass on YouTube goes over making basses in Thor... Also check out funtcases masterclass but be wary because there is a lot of sketchy info in that one

Two questions:
1. When I sample (resample w/e) my basses/synths/drums w/ the NN19, the sample sounds lower in volume. Is there a way to prevent this?
2. How do I make a High pass filter?

General Question but no need to make a thread about it since its kind of yes or no. Would just saving a drum hit or synth noise as a wav file and then opening it in a sampler have the same result as sampling it in the sampler?
