dancehall is not a niche genre here though? its insanely popular in this country and the states. Its not an obscure tune lol (not trying to be a dick, just trying to help explain the situation)..the tune got major play on MTV as well etc. Obvs it wasn't katy perry, jay-z lady gag popular but popular enough for me to put the vid on my fb and the majority of people will know or at least have heard it before. The vocal did seem out of place to me at first when i first heard duppy soursap but i've grown to like it.
