Im actually dead fucking happy with this tune! But had like 20 views and no replies in the dubs section
Would love to hear any feedback/criticism you guys might have!
Oh, and im going to have a browse through the last few pages on here later, drop some feedback. But for now...I should probably be doing what im procrastinating as we speak lol
hey Wiggle, listening to your track now

I love the start, great work on the low pads, and I like the muffled kicks with it in there too. And great percussion and drums too, I like the woody garage sound. The vocal is very well used too, and the understated bass is perfect. This works really well as an ambient track - I say ambient because it doesn't have anything made prominent, and also the structure is nebulous (in a good way). although it has just picked up, and I just realised the track goes for nine minutes! I would love a 320 of this if you are sending them out.
Also, I don't know if you already have, but check out VVV's tracks, fantastic atmospherics on a similar tip.

I'm listening now. I love the vibe of this tune for sure. The only thing is that the kick is pounding in my right ear. No bueno, place the kick in the center of the stereo field, please! This is a good tune! I like the change-up at 2:15 too. Nice work. Mixing is good. Your subs are good, nice and mellow. You just gotta move that kick and you gotta a good tune, so big up mayne! I did a song and called it lovestep, Cherish You on my Soundcloud. Peep it out and post this tune after you hopefully move that kick, I wanna hear it!

Cheers man! Nice one on the feedback! Appreciated. I do know what you mean about the lack of any part of the tune particularly sticking out at any point, and I am in the middle of trying to sort that. Was all finished a bit hurried to be honest! Got some brutal exams coming up, and should really be spending my time doing other things, but I got the bug with this tune, and just had to try and finish it off as soon as possible and get it out my system

Im trying to work a better version at the moment, got a big list of minor changes I want to have a play with, and im planning on cutting the amount of time before the first time the percussion comes in properly.
I was also thinking of making a kind of "vip" or whatever. Was thinking of glitching the percussion a bit, and adding a brutal snare. Then going to have a play with adding a bit of growl to the end of some of the long bass notes at points... Not going to be a quick ting though, just about to head down the library as we speak

Need more time in the day!
Oh yeah! And if you're after a 320, you should be able to download it from the link I put up before

Although I am trying to give it a better mixdown at the moment too...

Listening to rainbow dub now...and this is absoloutely sick!! I honestly dont know how some tunes seem to not get any love in the dubs section, one of the biggest ive heard in a while man! I would offer constructive criticism, but to be honest the tune surpasses anything id feel willing to comment on! Love the simplicity of the beat, getting jazzed up by the other percussion samples thrown around. Gives it a feel of constantly evolving/changing. Bassline does everything it needs too, and some wicked work on the progression/composition of the whole thing.
Those reversed crash cymbals leading to the synth noise with the huge delay on it sounds SO good man! Not going to just straight up rob...but im definitely going to have to have a play with similar ideas!
Niiiicely done!

No Love
Hi Alpacas !
I'm a new dubstep producer
My original musical background is death metal and I also produce Industrial / IDM tracks.
So, this is my first finished tune and I'm looking for some feedback.
It's not realy a classical dubstep track but I hope you will enjoy it.
download it

@Johnny Beat :
+ nice intro / outro
+ hypnotic lead
+ I like the plaintif subbass in the first part
+ the mix is good
+ deep and chill
- the snare sounds woody but a little weak in the high frequencies.
I think it could be more punchy with an aggressive clap ?
- maybe could you had another elements in the second part, a pad, little percussions .. Because it sounds like the first part with a long bass and another melodie.
(sorry for my poor english)

Taking another opportunity to say how much i love 'Sandstorm'

lool! Also i loved 'Strange Things', liked the pads and how the samples fit perfectly into the other elements of the track, i frikkin loved the grizzly bass coming in at 1:57.
s & m wrote:Hey i never really get any love in the dubs section I would really appreciate some feedback on my new track! spacey chillness inspired from a blade runner scene i'm sure you know it, probably already been sampled but whatever!
first one in the track. thanks you guys!

Hey man, just listened to 'Glitter In The Dark', i find the intro amazing 2bh, the dark, eerie feel to it, then the piano coming in. The only thing id probably say is that id prefer is the bass being alot deeper and heavier, aside from that i have to say i really like this track

.
...I have some new work up on my dubstep/electronica myspace (
http://www.myspace.com/neurotikproductions) namely 'Light Headed'.
Would really appreciate some feedback on the areas i need to work on better mainly, along with some reinforcement on any things i might be doing right lol. If you like the sound of anything i can send some full 320's if you want to listen to it in better quality.
thanks a lot man i really appreciate that! yeah man my bass lines just not quite where i want them... that is the thing i'm having most problems with especially using crap headphones and speakers I cant hear the base to well. thanks tho for listening means a lot peace bro

So I been posting this for a bit, still no feedback. Maximum Love, just a clip, only on my soundcloud page. I'm at almost 2 min. right now. I'm gonna do a 16 to 32 bar drop tomorrow with a tempo change in the drums(sped up) and and an arpeggiator bass line, more of the squawling lead bass too. Please lemme know what ya think. I just got Izotope Ozone and I'm trying to mixdown better as I go but my CPU is getting mad overloaded with all the shit I'm trying to put on every channel.

Got two new tunes I've been working on the last couple of days, 'Invasion' and 'The Internet'. Both at the top of my virb.
www.virb.com/sativabreather
djake- your tune wont play for me, think myspace is ass raping my computer again, I'll try it again later tho!
LHD- I really like a lot of the sounds you got going on in this tune but it sounds out of time in a lot of places and I found it a bit hard to listen to, are you sure your kicks are hitting at the right time? Although something definitely sounds wrong before the kick comes in as well. Could be the effects you've got running making things sound too delayed or something *shrugs*

paravrais - invasion is really nice, was going to say that the intro was a bit short to the first drop....but with the second drop coming in while i write this, it works quite well
really like that tune has a nice vibe!
internet - is good aswell, bass switches up keeps me interested though out the tune....good job
