did you even try my advice? would be the easiest way to work out what the problem is and a lack of bass is unlikely to be down to a needle anyway. all a needle does is pick up the vibrations in the groove and it's the cartridge that translates that into sound

Yeah, changed headshells and had the same problem on either deck, bought a new ortofon needle to stick in, same problem. Guessing it's the wiring or something on the headshell but not sure.

The tonearm is only on the one deck and it just doesnt swing freely, theres a bit of resistance towards the centre and I'm guessing this means the bearings are fucked and causing my records to scratch.

I'm usually diplomatic about music because I understand it's about taste, and everyone's different, but when it comes to KODE 9 I change, and it stops being about taste and starts being about who's taste is developed enough to realize his music is shit and who's taste is crippled and diminished and needs to be corrected...

What pissed me off today? I'm not pissed, just uncomfortable with my cold/cough/allergies. My ears are itchy and I want to drill them. My throat hurts like a mother, and my eyes sting. I want to workout but no energy. Everything that I smell irritates my nose and makes it stuffy. Yuck!
