YUP. i used to be a lot more into the beats scene (i sort of had to, i'm in la), but i just cant stand it anymore since the whole thing's become so cheesy and just plain fucking annoying. no longer about thick boom bap beats, now its just shit like the above. couple dudes still holding it down, but the general trend is towards shit

His Clockwork stuff is utter wank, the Grime Mercy refix is decent and so is Treadstone but that's about it.

Been playing Rusties appel sap set posted up by Boiler room and it took me 8 mins to realize that it was playing twice one second out and not that rustie was doing some really wonky sounding mixing

i have been desperately guilty of similar things before

usually two bandcamp pages open or an unexpected autoplay from an online music store is to blame, though. although that doesnt excuse how long i've listened to two songs at the same time and sat there scratching my head

Occasionally that collision makes something completely amazing though. I had that happen with documentary soundtracks and soundcloud streams especially. You're like "omg, what is this?!" and hit pause on one and music is still playing...

Haha I gave up in the end as the other streams started up randomly so I just downloaded it and Disclosures one to save aggro.
