Yeah I dont get why people are hating on these prequels, I loved them when they came out as I was a kid, and i still like them now

They're shit films
actually shit films
describe any of the main characters in the phantom menace without referencing their physical appearance. It's impossible I swear.
explain the plot of it too. I mean really explain it properly.
It's actually shit. There's loads of pretty much racist stereotypes in it too.
In all three prequels Anakin = terrible fucking acting.
They're full of shit CGI and they're just boring as fuck too.

lol yeah but, when i was a kid i didnt give a shit i just wanted bare lightsabers and shit, the pod race is one of the best scenes in the movies cos i love racing shit lol

Infact. If you genuinely think Phantom Menace is a good movie.
Watch the whole of this.
Yeah it's like 70 minutes for the whole thing. But it's basically a water tight explanation as to why it's a terrible movie.

Then you're talking about the original trilogy though
Empire Strikes back is actually genuinely good. Return Of The Jedi is very flawed. The original is just really enjoyable
If you're going to hold star wars up as being a good example of sci fi. It's not really that great though (especially if you include book). It's really fun and the original trilogy are good, but if you're going to say "I don't like star wars and sci fi" you can't really write off sci fi because of start wars.

fairly true really. The actual focus on the sci fi elements of it are very light.
