Most stems will just start from the first bar so all you do is import and lay across your arrange starting from the very beginning.
Well at least thats how i bounce my stems.
You must know how to import audio into your daw, thats like one of the first things you probably learn to do isn't it?
Just load the track in then start chopping it about.
When i done my excision remix i laid the original out in my arrange and them cut the vocals about and basically copied his arrangement apart from the second drop.In all honesty that was probably the track that most helped me understand about how technical you can get with an arrangement.
Rayman accept the challenge because you don't know how much it might actually help you to see how someone else works.

ok ill do it
only time ive ever used them before is i actually cut them up in audacity first then imported into ableton, i didnt know they lined up like that lol
when you export stems do you just mute everything and export as its own .wav file then? and do that for each thing

I don't know in ableton,in logic you go to track and just select bounce replace all tracks,if you want i will have a look for you to see if i can find a tut or something.
On the stems front starting on the first bar,i can't say everyone bounces like that but know that it would be the universal thing to do when passing stems around for mixing because it just makes it easier on the remixer.I have downloaded a few like the chase and status time stems and they all satrted from the first bar.

I use logic if any other logic users want to remix my track I can just send over the original logic file, I'll bounce everything to audio anyways so there isn't any problem with plugins that aren't stock logic ones

I didn't end up turning in mine for this past week. I started it and it was too good. I have plans for this tune, so it's top secret for now.

Uh, fucking newsflash, one tune a week crew is dropping heat. Very nice gents, and ladies (you know who you are).
Seriously pissing on the 48 hour crew, no offense.
Really nice work. Is this a high water mark? From my short time with this crew I think it is.
