Yeah it is. I'll be driving a good distance to see him, what makes you think he'll show?

he didn't, no. passport issues...
4real?
Wait, really?! That was last week and I'm about to see him tonight. WTF!
Yeah, he showed up to Seattle last night and he lived up to his famed douche-ness. He basically walked on stage, hit play in Abelton, rolled a joint, walked off stage, came back to switch tracks, and repeated that for an hour. Oh, and also posed a few times for the camera when he wasnt too busy adjusting his gold necklace or repositioning his mask. Dont get me started on his mixing, or lack there of. Pretty sure he played an itunes playlist.
Dont get me wrong I am not a chronic Zomby hater like some -- I love his production and really hoped that I could continue to support him in good conscience but last night was pretty offensive. I was torn between seeing Zomby or going to see Araabmuzik -- Z ended up playing about 6 Araab tracks so I would have been better off going to see Araab live.
At least he showed up I guess...

Opened with Natalia's Song
Float
Some other unknown breakbeat stuff
Souljaboy and a few other dirty south tacks
Bunch of ARAABmuzik
Closed with Things fall apart
Like I said, his set was not too good and his mixing was non-existent. Pretty excited for the Night Slugs showcase tonight, though.

Hope that little (10th post) review isn't a plot spoiler for tomorrow night @ 1015.
Ableton makes it so you leave the variables of a screw up to a minimum,
Have you ever tried mixing with a mask on? It fucking tough, I've done it, mixing ZOMBY tunes...
Ohh, everyone's gotta read The Wire next issue, they are gonna run a letter I wrote about the man in question!

If I can vaguely remember, he played around 25+ tunes at 30 seconds each except rinsing most, if not all, of the dirty south tracks until they were finished. It was a stop/play set. I wasn't tall enough to see his "dj" set, but I won't be surprised if he used a USB or ipod to play on the itunes. Haha. I started to laugh at the end. There was no way you can even dance d/t how fast the tunes were changed. He did a couple of jungle tunes. It was a silly set. He was massively trolling BUT... it was Zomby and I expected that set. I take full responsibility of wasting my money to see him act that way.
Oh, Zomby! Nice hair cut by the way.
