angers me. Show up to a gig with vinyl..... fucked needles, missing legs, no slipmats, no grounds, bad support, ends up going tits up, and you end up looking like a fool.

Actually I spose it's 75% venues, 25% promoters. When I put on events I always make sure EVERYTHING is working, and working well.

same here. when i do my parties i don't even put CDJs... haha - so who's djing knows from the beginning: you need black wax.

Sometimes CDJ's are just more (should we say) suited to a venue

Well I do wake up every so often with a bad stomach, unexplained injuries and no memory of the night before.

I met Kode9 outside TURRBOTAX before his set in Brooklyn last night.

The fanboy in me was compelled to ask about new Burial and shit, but I restrained myself and merely thanked him for bringing Burial's music to the world.

He seemed really humble, he was talking to a few other people as well.
