Looks like the Premiership in Scotland is going to be EVEN easier next season for Celtic if that was even possible.

No Rangers, Hearts or Hibs next season, fucking hell :cornlol:

Looking like it's gonna be Coyle or possibly Keane (doubt it though). I would've really liked Moyes tbh, looks like the Oscar Garcia move has died, would've really liked to have seen him take the job.

Really becoming a less and less attractive job - less money, fuck all competition in the league and 3 games to even qualify for the Champions League. Although I'd still say it's more attractive than managing a bottom half Premiership side or a Championship side.

Also, this is a good piece on the shit Lennon had to put up with whilst playing for and managing Celtic.

I will turn this from the Arsenal thread into the Celtic thread soon enough.

^That Isco touch was sublime. Shame he doesn't get the game time he deserves. His own fault for going to Real.

nah a friend of my father who knows him well told me that he haven't´´been at his top form because of some personal problems. I have said it b4 and will say it again, he is going to be a Real Madrid icon in the future

nothing to do with football philosophy lol
I agree, didn't stop people sugar coating it and trying to justify the hate by saying it'd be a shit final if we was in it. At.Madrid pretty much played how I'd have expected us to play.

That Isco first touch literally left me gobsmacked.

+ 1 on Modric he was decent... shaved his hair off too lol

It looks like we are back in for Luke Shaw with a £27m bid matching Man United's. We know he is a childhood Chelsea fan, so we have a good chance of getting him. A bit expensive in my opinion, but most English talent will always cost mega money due to the lack of them  Sorry Wub.

There's also rumour's that Mauricio Pochettino is in advanced talks with Spurs. Not looking good for Southampton.

We're getting gutted, no doubt about it. Only saving grace is Rodriguez's injury might keep him in our squad for a bit.

On the plus side, we should have ~£20m left over to rebuild, assuming a chunk of the (proposed) sales go to our debt 'issue'.

Ouch. I was getting kind of fond of Pochettino at Southampton.

With any luck he'll have to use the same Spurs squad.

Can't believe how much they bummed bale after his goal, he was shocking all game. Ramos and di Maria were the stand outs for real, everybody else were average.
All the headlines the next day were about Bale, like he'd scored a zidane goal to win it for them. He did nothing all game and got a header into an empty goal after Athletico's legs went

I still think Steve Nicol should have just rugby tackled Thomas but I wasn't particularly bothered at the time and am still not.

Nick Hornby is still a twat though

Here are the 4 goals from yesterday's friendly match against Norway:

Not bad for a first training match. Our team is shaping up really nicely. We could do something decent this time!

It can't really be any worse than 4 years ago tbh

USA 2-0 Azerbaijan was such a shit game. Only reason we scored was because of two defensive breakdowns during set pieces
