In the first half of the season we got 36 points from 57. Second half of the season we gained 48 points from a total of 57.

First half of the season including the first 5 games he was banned for we scored 44 goals of which he contributed 19, in the second half of the season he scored 12 we scored 57.

First half of the season the rest of the team scored 25 goals in the second half 45 goals. What Liverpool did this season wasn't all about Suarez.

Latest rumours are that Real are going after Aguero instead of Suarez. I always thought he was going to end up there, just wasn't possible before because of the Madrid rivalry

I don't think Suarez is for sale at any price that would interest Madrid

You can never be 100% sure with them but I can't see them making another bumper bonus signing so soon after Bale. They need a striker though, Benzema always disappears in the big games when I see him

Manchester United legend Paul Scholes has urged England boss Roy Hodgson to emulate Liverpool's attacking style of play at the World Cup in Brazil. Scholes said Liverpool's "swagger" this season, in which they fell just short of a first league title since 1990, reminded him of "United at their best".

So play really confidently then stuff it up right at the end? We did that in Euro 96.
Someone from the FT whose out in Portugal with England training said Roys been experimenting with a 4-3-3.. could play Hendo - Gerrard with Rooney attacking mid, Sturridge up top with Lallana and Sterling on the wing. Would be interesting to see that.

Hodgson will start a cautious team against Italy and hope for a draw, that's just how he is

I'm a massive Gerrard fan but at risk of being laughed at by garethom I reckon he needs Henderson in the team beside him.

Defo, I'd be surprised if he even goes with that set up at all.. hopefully he does I'm interested to see how we'd do going more attacking.

Probably couldn't even afford Heskey's nan at the moment bro.

Shares in the club were suspended the other day, and they've apparently accepted an offer for 24% of the club (a quarter of the chinese stake) from a "British consortium backed by a strong North American investment fund". They can't and won't sell their stake in one go, as they'd have to remove the parent company from the Hong Kong Stock Exchange, so it's still gonna be some protracted ass shit.

Meanwhile, we've missed out on Macheda and some Dutch defender because Lee Clark isn't sure of the wages he can offer.

Have offered Zigic a new contract, and he want's to stay though. 8)

He can afford to since we've been paying him £60k a week for the past 5 years.

Wow if Liverpool actually buy him for that price. He's not "that" prolific and 31
