You can never be 100% sure with them but I can't see them making another bumper bonus signing so soon after Bale. They need a striker though, Benzema always disappears in the big games when I see him

Someone from the FT whose out in Portugal with England training said Roys been experimenting with a 4-3-3.. could play Hendo - Gerrard with Rooney attacking mid, Sturridge up top with Lallana and Sterling on the wing. Would be interesting to see that.

Hodgson will start a cautious team against Italy and hope for a draw, that's just how he is

I'm a massive Gerrard fan but at risk of being laughed at by garethom I reckon he needs Henderson in the team beside him.

Defo, I'd be surprised if he even goes with that set up at all.. hopefully he does I'm interested to see how we'd do going more attacking.

They can't and won't sell their stake in one go, as they'd have to remove the parent company from the Hong Kong Stock Exchange, so it's still gonna be some protracted ass shit.

Meanwhile, we've missed out on Macheda and some Dutch defender because Lee Clark isn't sure of the wages he can offer.

Have offered Zigic a new contract, and he want's to stay though.
