got a stanton t.62 pretty much brand new if anybody wants it. used it a couple times before i got technics and forgot to sell it so pm if interested.

Nah mate nothing like a higher end CDJ. Used it earlier in a mix a few times but it's not something I'd like to rely on live. The pitch adjustment has like a 1.5 second delay.
The jog wheel only works in the counter clockwise rotation, I'm sure that could easily be fixed, I presume its just a little catch or something inside thats moved out of place.

I know mate, don't want to sell it to someone who wants thinks it's gonna be on par with a Pioneer then have them be dissapointed when they get it. Rather tell them straight up it's not the best CDJ, it's fine for the bedroom like but thats probably it. Unless you're a fearless bastard haha

well cheers for being honest! I'm looking for something that will vaguely resemble a higher end pioneer so I can practise using it before I risk playing CDs in da club

No problem mate. And there was a Gemini CDJ that was pretty much exactly the same design as a Pioneer.
It had the same pause/cue buttons, same screen, same buttons everywhere, even had that same little light in the middle of the platter.
Strangely enough they got sued for copying the design haha.
Back on topic though I don't know what to suggest. There's always some bargains on Gumtree on Pioneers or Ebay. Good luck to ya.
