Essentially, yes. Went to a party, took a pill, panicked, drank too much water, panicked some more, brain swelled, life support, died.

There was some strong vibes in the "Sorted: Just one ecstasy tablet took Leah Betts." campaign that followed, making no mention of the water intoxication.
Even more so as the Royal Mail was using "SORTED" as it's campaign slogan at the time. I also think Kellogs Cornflakes were trying to rebrand themselves as something you ate when you came home from 'raving'?

how much do you have to drink for that to happen
when im at a night i dont think i piss for like 6 hours and i must drink a fair few litres of liquid :/

Varies from person to person depending on size/physical activity/etc, but assuming you're not taking anything that is further impairing your kidneys and/or removing the need to piss, then we're talking a LOT of water. Like 10 litres in 30mins or something, crazy amounts.

Yeah you have to drink and insane amount of water, like 3-4 big bottle of cokes worth in under an hour. Its actually scary how someone could even drink that much in any state.
