Thing is though we need to unite a bit more as a community. Bit too much of different producers, DJs and promoters doing their own thing and not interracting with one another more
Watch out for Roots 2 Future music @ Wire!!Scuba playing in November...big up the different selection from all the usual big names.
@decibella....what happened to flux....had like 3 nights...n they were all big then it just stopped!
Leeds defintley needs to unite alot more n push the whole city rather than different cliques stick to themselves....i say watch this space though....
oh yeah SAFE all of you

this needs an update, can't remember them all but I'll have a go..
New DJs...
Dom, Donga (edgeworld), Deadboyracer, Phinga + Zemon (2manysteps), Hizzle Guy (Dub Fiyah) and the rest of Gangoon, Paul, Riskotheque, Neek, Middleman, High Rankin, Sinner, Mr Finn, G Flex, Marchmellow, Greena... there's at least one person I'll be embarassed to have forgotten too.. oh and just remembered Deville lives here now
Producers...
Dom, Tonian, Donga, Phinga + Zemon, Gangoon, Paul, Riskotheque, High Rankin, Sinner, Mr Finn, G Flex, Marchmellow, Greena, Deville and almost certainly more...
Promoters...
Hannah (DubFiyah), Neek/Middleman (Sureskank), G Flex (rubberdubs), Joe Barnett (Vagabondz), Audio in-house/Clarkycat (138), and whoever runs Deviate
this town also suffers somewhat from cliques sticking to themselves, but then again where doesn't

West Coast Canada.
Victoria resides on vancouver island.
a short 1:30 hour boat ride from the Dubstep Mecca of Canada Vancouver.
the dubstep community here in victoria is just picking up steam.
early on in its growth there is a good slew of producers/dj's/promoter(s)
we have
Pacific Dubstep
http://www.pacificdubstep.wordpress.com
Gobe (VPSS, Grindtheives International, PDS)
DJ, Producer, Promoter
Patience Automate (VPSS, PDS)
DJ, Producer
AFL(vancouver) (Northwest Jungle, PDS)

Okibi (Union Sound, PDS)

Rhythmicon (Chainsaw, PDS)

Generic (Whitebird, PDS)
DJ, Producer, Promoter
April M/Dissary. (PDS)
DJ, Promoter

NPG (neilgreenwell.com, PDS)
DJ, PDS IT Support
we just through our first club night called PROPPA at hush nightclub(one of the better electronic clubs in town)
we were able to bring in a 110 bass heads down on a torrential rain storm on a thursday night to bruk out to:
Daege Sound System- Dj Bias - Gobe and Rhythmicon
With a few more Proppa's lined up for 2009 it is looking like a Dubstep takeover is in full effect for victoria.
Miss Bliss productions(sarah) has thrown a couple shows here in victoria at the sunset room. the original bassbottoms show back in march 2008 saw daega sound, tusk and few other cats peel the paint off in a grimey dance.
It has been intresting to be in a city that is just catching up with the bass craze that has been huge everywhere but here.
i remember playing in a dj competion back in april 08 and dropping a set of dubstep and having the bar staff say "that kind of music doesn't get played in here". To the present momment where the bass blood in the water and all the dubstep sharks are in a feeding frenzy.
big up world wide bass culture and the people that allow it grow.
