yeh i played this at my mates the other week, wasn't too keen on the difficulty of it really, too much dieing in my opinion.
i would rate it for it's realism though, although the cars were shit to drive

there's a game on Steam called "AAAAAaaaaaaAAAAAAAAaaaaaaaAAAAAAAA! : A Reckless Disregard for Gravity" which is fucking amazing. You fall, near things, without hitting them. And get points for it. It's a tenner.

Ive been rinsing Borderlands since Friday night!!!
Anyone that enjoys both Diablo 2 and FPS's should get this!
Its like Diablo 2 because you pick a class and essentially wonder around various area's shooting things of various sizes, doing mini quests and then ever-so-often you reach an area that contains a boss. You have to shoot through a bucket load of things before you get to the boss, then you kill the boss. Rinse and Repeat. There's a shit load of weapons, upgrades and items to pick up aswell, the developer states a trillion guns (over infact) and i think their right, im yet to see the same gun twice! There are 4 classes to pick from and each one has 3 different paths you can go down, then there are different class upgrades you can pick up with allow you to do different things!
Its also like FPS's because, well, its an FPS, but its got all the standards you'd expect. Its the same control scheme as COD. You can sprint, aim down the gun, throw grenedes, jump, crouch... you get the idea.
Online its awesome aswell and i found that once id played it online, i couldnt play it offine without having as much fun. even with complete strangers, was still a laugh!
Only down side is that there isnt an easy way to trade with people. Example:
I picked up this sniper rifle and quickly found a better one and offered it to the sniper that was in our team. i dropped it and some plink grabbed it before the guy and logged off.
I urge anyone who like Diablo and FPS's to pick this up!
When you do get it, add me, my XBL gamertag is: Smashed On Ket

Yeah it's a war sim, one shot kill's and everything. It's the best way to feel like your going to war without actauly going to war. If you like a challenge and tactics you will love it. If your a halo fanboy, and like to just run in and kill taking hundrend's of bullets you will be fucked at this game from the start, and would hate it.

I quite like this, got a really good atmosphere. Online's okay but there are a lot of bugs atm but they are doing an update along with some dlc. Has got great potential.
Just been playing the Left 4 Dead 2 demo. That frying pan is awesome! Also love that Uzi, probably the most satisfying gun I've ever fired in a game.

last night walking home from a session at a mates, i bought enter the matrix, airblade and nba street preowned on ps2 all for £10...dumb thing is that i already had airblade and enter the matrix years ago and then sold on but i was stoned enough to think it was a good idea to buy them again and had to choose a third to get the 10 deal. not about those spur of the moment under influence purchases you dont really want/need.

Left 4 Dead 2 demo is amazing, was rinsing it just now.
Modern Warfare 2 is gonna be hype.
For the moment i'm playing the occasional bit of Fallout 3, I need to buy a play and charge kit for my 360 controller so I can use it on Pro Evo 2010 PC.

let me be the first (and probably last) to say FUCK call of duty modern warfare 2.
mw2 looks exactly the same as cod4 with slightly better graphics and an even more arcadey multiplayer...
as for games i've been playing recently:
s.t.a.l.k.e.r
arma 2
killing floor
sudden strike
css
company of heroes
rainbow six 3
civilization
and THE most gaming fun i've had recently is via Hamachi, which basically lets you play any game on virtual LAN worldwide!
age of empires 2
rise of nations
^ BIG in the real time strategy / LAN game!
