But do you like it? There seems to be a fine line between things you like and things you hate.

was listening to the leak yesterday.

There are straight up stand outs. Like 5 or 6 tunes that straight away it's like "oh shit!!" But like Los Angeles there are tunes I need to take in a bit more.

But he is on some next vibe with this one undoubtedly.

All I have to say.

Yeah, can't see as many folk ripping off his style like with LA - way too much jazz/strings for that to happen this time round...

I'm undecided after two listens - Like it, definitely, but it's not all that groundbreaking for me (not that that's a necessity!)

Do the Astral Plane is possibly my favourite thing he's done yet!

i have a promo copy but havent listened to it yet, i want to be able to digest on a decent system.

the reason being is that i want a real perspective on it rather than a quick flick through on the laptop followed by pulling out the tracks that are djable into a folder,

that, and I want to experience it properly as I know its going further than LA, which in my opinion was massively overhyped by Warp - despite being a great LP.

dood is a leader, buy that shit - i know I am

^ yes i agree with the sentiment.
i ahve kind of ruined (imo) a few albums by cherry picking the 'bangers' out and then just discounting the rest. Los Angeles was overated i retrospect.
gonna wait for the whole album (difficult now i can see it...)
