I'm re-opening this thread for all classic Simpsons moments. Only seasons 1-9, but will except quotes / images from up to season 12. Anything after that is not the Simpsons.

Homer becomes a bodyguard, Mayor still gets beaten with a baseball bat, carries off Luke Skywalker in the end
Homer joins a cult, Marge and Flanders try to convert him back, cult leader crashes his cardboard UFO into some hillbilly's front lawn.
Homer becomes a hippie, starts working on vegetable juice but adds the "secret stash" vegetables, entire town is tripping balls.
Those are the ones that stand out for me

22 Short Films About Springfield
Lisa the Vegetarian
Cape Feare
It began sucking as soon as all the best writers left to work on Futurama when that began. The characters and entire humour changed completely. Anyway onto some quotes:
Beekeeper 1: "Well, very clever, Simpson, luring our bees to your sugar pile and selling them back to us at an inflated price." Homer: "Bees are on the what now?"
Beekeeper 2: "Simpson, you diabolical..."
Mr Burns: "Excuse me, where are the Burns-Os?"
Krusty: "They don't put nobodies on cereal boxes"
Chalmers: "Aurora Borealis, at this time of year, in this part of the country, situated entirely within your kitchen?"
Skinner: "Yes"
Homer: "Hello, my name is Mr Burns."
Clerk: "What's your first name Mr Burns?"
Homer: "I don't know"
The entire Mr. Thompson name learning scene.

LOLOLOL that is classic, i still got the fake voice he used etched in my head.
"Hey Johnny, would you happen to have seen where the Shooter went?"
JT - "I aint sayin nutin"
/
Fat Tony to Johnny Tightlips
"Hey Johnny hows ya mother?"
JT - "Who said i had a mother?!"
/
Chief Wiggum "aim for the body boys" *bullets fly past everything but the body*
/
Lou when handing his hand gun in following the ban "Wow it really made me feel like a man y'know... now all i have is my enormous genitals"

Incorrect. This does not allow for the inclusion of the Valentine's special from a couple of years ago where they did Lisa & Nelson as Sid & Nancy. Top ten episodes, definitely.
The best line ever in The Simpsons is "Right Lisa, some wonderful, maaagical animal..."

One of my favourite bits too. Lisa the Vegetarian
Burns Heir
Cape Fear episode.
Sweet Seymour Skinner's Badass Song. Sup. Intd. Chalmers: Thank the Lord? That sounded like a prayer... A Prayer!? A Prayer in a public school! God has no place within these walls!
Who Shot Mr. Burns pt.2

Agree to disagree cuz I think that Sid/Nancy one was fucking awful.
That sugar b-plot in "Lisa's Rival" is my favorite one they've done.
First you get the sugar, then you get the power, then you get the women...

i've seen all of them up til season 13 basically but cant remember most of them 4-9 were amazing, 10-13 were great, anything after that was pretty painful

a fish called selma is definitely in my top 3, phil hartmans timing is amazing.
Troy: Hello, Selma Bouvier. You might remember me from such dates as last nights dinner.
Waiter: Cigarette, Mrs. McClure?
troy: You bet! From now on, she's smoking for two!
Troy: So, working at the DMV must be very interesting.
Selma: Well, uh... I think I'm getting Repetitive Stress Disorder from
scratching my butt all day.
[clears throat]
Being a huge movie star must be good too. What are you working
on now?
Troy: I've been reading a lot of scripts lately. You know, it's a lot
cheaper than _going_ to the movies.
Troy: [laughing] That's too funny! I can't remember when I've heard a
funnier anecdote. [laughing] All right, now you tell one.
Lisa: Dad, what's a Muppet?
Homer: Well, it's not quite a mop, it's not quite a puppet, but man...
[laughs hysterically]
Homer: So to answer your question, I don't know.
the whole fish thing is hilarious as well, snot to mention:
