what the fuck happened to quality control.
any respect i had for breakbeat kaos is now gone..
maybe their thinking behind it was that the ammount of youtube plays would mean the record would sell well, but...im banking on the majority of youtube hits are generated by idiots that dont DJ, dont have a clue about the genre, probably dont even own a turntable and therefore wouldnt buy the record anyway - and im pretty sure most DJs on here wouldnt buy it right...?

Fuckin right. I'll only buy it if everyone else buys one so we can huck them at cars or something.
I mean, even if you dropped Mt. Eden in a vinyl set (shudder) someone would still demand you play the 48kbps version off their iPhone, right?

I defend Not Even's right to have their music released on vinyl
cos they are popular, trendy & potentially rich.

this
it's up to DJs/fans not to support music they like and with any luck labels won't want to put it out. hating on it is going to get you nowhere

it could be worse it could actually be a dubstep label instead of a pop dnb label trying to cash in on dubstep hype
honestly can't see sales being too good since the majority of their fans seem to be based on youtube, youtube rip and reupping, and where can i download this or how do i download the audio to this video
more power to em, just ffs quit using the stock flstudio snare

wow you guys on here are hating even more so than usual. I dont like Mt Eden, never have I think they're shit tbh but hating on them for getting one of their remixes signed and put out on vinyl is just not cool. So what If its not your cup of tea, dont buy it tor listen to it. Focus on doing something for the scene yourselves other than hating on someones elses work.
Also Its not really there fault that they got so many youtube hits. I dont even know how they did get so many, If the whole youtube thing never happened they wouldn't get so much hate. Like I said I dont like their tunes but they're probably decent guys who just like making music

Oh and ^ no-one's really hating on them for getting their tune on vinyl, we're more hating the fact that it got ALLOWED to be put on vinyl...

vs
actual sales
if half the time was spent on the music production and skills vs marketing, people probably wouldn't be "hating" so much
