not funny but fishy, i agree. because if it wasn't burial who made this tune the person who did, would generate even more attention being "as good" as burial if he would use his own name. - so i guess it's actually a burial tune and the denial by kode 9 is a promotion trick to get more hits on this track. maybe there's a new burial album coming for real and this is something like weird promo in inner circles.... who knows? - nine? - i'm really excited bout this thread now.

For me Kode 9 is a prick because he seems to think he has the final word on all musical issues. He appears very arrogant when comes onto what is gd and what is not. If he gets bored of the Burial hype then how about he announces an idea when an album may surface or what he's working on then he wouldn't get hassled. Its obvious that there is a big marketing ploy goin and its frustrating.

it would be nice if kode just comes with the details already. lately, i havent been too keen on the hyperdub catalog. i dont care for much grime (terror danja), there are far better synth pop albums out there (darkstar) and the whole jumping on the kwaito bandwagon isnt doing it for me (lv. i miss the VIBES). hate to be a negative nancy, but a new burial album would turn my frown upside down immediately. i still respect hyperdub a lot, and check out everything they release.

It could be someone who just wanted to make a tune in the style of Burial to see if people thought it was him or not. It could be trolling. It could be real.
