To be fair on the NME back in the day and I'm talking about 15 years ago it was a great rag. Sure it never featured electronic music as heavily as I wished but it got me into a lot of stuff I'd never heard of from all spectrums. I don't read the NME anymore as its just too far removed from what I listen to now but back in the day I use to love reading it and it made my week every Wednesday.

An underground music scene which develops a large enough fan base will always undoubtedly get picked up by the mainstream. What is important in these circumstances is that the "underground" continues to reinvent the sound, keeping it fresh and making sure it does not become merely a parody of itself. Despite this slightly cringe-worthy article, as the dubstep sound appears to be getting more diverse by the day, I'm not personally worried about the scene becoming hollow, stale and sickeningly-commercialised just yet!

i resent that.
my hair naturally grows like its sideswept ):
i reckon just disallow the skinny jeans.
everyone knows you can't skank when you're wearing jeans that tight.
