if its ur bass synth, then a high pass filter or a sharp cut in the low end would help
or you could split the sound into low/high freqs and deal with each part separately = more control over the sound :) thats imo neway
why didnt i think of this? i do it to everything else hahahaha. thanks man. ill get to it around lunch time, hopefully ill get some done. :e:

Well , it sounds good but it's a bit messy , all those synths are pretty much ruining the song :( try arranging them better :)

thanks for the feedback. i was posting heavier tracks but it seems like most of this forum so far is more into the chilled out stuff.
glad you gave both tunes a listen!! thanks for the input!

thanks for the comment!
yea man. feelin the update of your tune. either too much low end or not enough mid range still. drums are great and the leads are dope!

big up and peace!!

Thanks, I agree. This was one of those 2-3 hour first draft deals ;) Think I kinda overdid the LFO's and synths... Definitely needs some more breathing room :W: I'll post up some updates shortly.

@Brex sounds like there might be a little to much compression ,but could be on my end.

@dublicks i dig the tune . Maybe could use a little more in the percussion area but over all i like it.

@gen i really like the drums in your tune.

@@ djdevz :: tune is sick man. mixdown is great. big drop. kick and snare really stand out. not much i can say but good tingz. the bubbly lead is real interesting. and the leads during the break are dope. the double time part isnt really my thing but as far as production goes it sounds great.

@@ janke :: def original sounding. not for me really but its creative. i like the beat the best. the bass i think needs a lot of work. needs more going on..

wish there was more uploaded but ive commented on about everything so far!!
just got this somewhat finished and just had to get some opinions!!

heads up its got some 'wobbles' for yall that dont care for em
got the temptations on the track with samples from my girl

@nnny - likin that track your workin on so far but your Dream In Oriental tune is really nice man thanks for the free DL

@brex - im likin the dub track your workin on just the delay on the voice kinda seems a bit off with the kick that comes in after it idk maybe its just me but its sounds chilled out

@cubicle_ - you should have the drop of your track sooner the intro is kind of a bit boring if it goes on like that for a while it sounds good mate but if you have it drop at 32 bars it would sound cooler and you would need mixdown too.

I don't have any WIP tracks ATM but can you give me some feedback on the track i have in my sig im debating if i should add a sub if it would beef up the track a bit.

well this is something i have been working not the finished article by no means .... if y'alll could have a listen and let me know people! -e-

@steeple
I dig the sweeps in the beginning, Sick flow for this toon. dark heavy bassline is moving this one along nice.
I like the part around 1:52 i think you should keep the kick out for longer, and bring that wobble out more in general because it gets pretty lost in the kick.
Other than that great treble sounds and feel coming along well.

@Hypefiend
beautifully intro synth, really digin that hat/snare too. Sick flow, really get lost in this one man.
I think you need a bassline, and this one would be a giant song. That is of course if you didn't leave one out on purpose.
I dig the outro, i think you should shove an interlude in the middle using it.

@kayadubz
i hate to say it but maybe too much bass in that kick.
lyrics are sick and flow well. Bassline is punching through well too.
Crazy sounds on that drop, maybe try and bring out the mids in those wobbs. Beat and flow are sick, nice transitions dig that break around 2:20.

Well heres the one i've been working on the last little while.
Let me know what you think.

Steeple- I like this track mate, its a good un. nice percussion for the intro and good synths throughout well done :)

Kayadubz- Just for sampling the temptations on a dubstep tune you have my respect sir. its a good tune as well, the midrange wobbles suit the samples and the mood of the tune nicely.

Djdevz- tune. nuff said. i cant think of anything to suggest to improve it man quality track :)

Heres what im working on atm

@funicular - not bad man. Melodies are nice and relaxing and the synths all work really well. Some of the stabs are perfect. I think your clap could do with a bit more weight and some reverb though. The panning wobbles never work - they just seem to confuse the brain. Nice production though, good stuff :)

@cyberex - will comment once you actually follow the rules of the wip threads.

To everone else - did an update on my track, re-arranged the bass, through in some more synths to fill it out, some more melodies, as well as altering the melody of the flute during the verse. Thoughts? Looking for input on ideas for the break, kinda lost trying to figure something out.

Amphibian-Technically that was a great, well produced tune. I thought musically the melody was a bit weak. Too much movement to early for my taste. Jazz soloists (I play jazz trombone) are taught to let notes lie in a solo, and your melody never lets the main chord notes settle in. this of course is all preferential to my ears.
I'll finish rendering in just a sec, then I'll post my wip
