You make it seem like having skream and N-type at outlook is not a good thing? Would much rather have those 2 there than the others that you wrote, don't really see how they can be compared tbh.
But everyone's entitled to their opinion.

I just hope stinkahbell get announced that would be some good news :h:

Quite a bit mate, I made a little compilation a while back...

the supervisors were all sound as well, really cool people.
i got one shit shift standing guarding a 20-30 ft drop that some guy had managed to fall in! didnt even hurt himself though lucky guy. it was the one on the right just as you entered the area around the fort, if anyone remembers like a big moat thing. suprised he didnt break anything.
i sacked off my last shift on sunday as i had to get the sunshine bus at 6am anyway and we had just bought a big bag of speed and i though fuck this i need to go out with a bang.
but yeah its defintly worth doing if you cant afford a ticket, not sure how theyll do it this time but basically you get one wristband everyday of the festival if you do your shift. one of the other volunteers kept leaving his shift so he didnt get a wristband the next day! how guttin. .
but yeah, you also get a meal ticket everyday iirc correctly there was no limit on it so i just got the biggest thing i could each time lol.
i think it was 3, 8 hour shifts over the whole festival, cant remember exactly tho.
even if your working youll still have a great time trust me, youll meet loadsa people and if you get a shift by a stage its pretty much win.

tl;dr, all you have to do if you volunteer is hold the djs drink while he rolls a bifta.
What's the situation concerning where you stay? Is that down to you?

Also, it sounds like you had a good time, during the shifts do you normally go in pairs?

Finally, odd question but what's the ratio between males and females concerning volunteering?

Get ready to instantly hate chavs. Also I notice that because brits don't seem to get any sun as soon as they are exposed to even the smallest amount they all have their shirts off :cornlol: :cornlol: :cornlol:

One of my mates was I think the only american there last year (I might be wrong).. he came from Colorado. Quite a few Canadians though.
Only advice I have is don't start drinking too early! I missed N-Type and Joker cos I passed out!!!

does anyone know what the rules are on cancelling flights? I want to book my flights now but I might have retakes in the summer which would mean me missing the festival (doesnt even bare thinking about!!) If I book a flight now and then find out a month or 2 before I cant go, will I be able to get my money back on my flights?

Definitely booking as soon as possible. Reckon they'll increase the capacity by much this year? Hoping they don't by too much, the last one was perfect and more people will just ruin it a bit cause all the arenas were packed out enough before. The queueing for the DMZ night was also long, I don't want to be stuck in queues for the whole time.

Lineup looooks fucking big though.

Each airline is slightly different. You have to check their websites. Wizz for example allow you to pay £10 extra for a flexible flight.

Any Dutchmen goin'? Would love to head out that way, and there's a few more wanting to come along, but I'm not sure on what'd be the best way to get there.

If you live on mainland europe, then no question car is the best way to go! Ur then flexible to go and eat in town when you are there, and go to the supermarkets that sell branded spirits etc, not the dodgy Croatian ones! The food on the campsite is reasonable, but you can only eat so many burgers! I would have really appreciated having a car and heading to some fish restaurant along the coast somewhere.
