Im just interested to know how familiar you are with english football. Particularly going to matches. If you think a few remarks like that is really that bad, then i suggest you avoid any live matches unless your sitting in the family stand. Even then youd probably still be quite offended.

Exactly, i cant understand why this has been made such a big deal, when just ten/fifteen years ago people were getting the shit kicked out of em.
Its only words, she hasnt had the sharpened 2pence pieces thrown at her yet, think about the outrage thatll cause...

Seems like you're taking what I said to mean I'm happy with the current situation. I'm not. I want the day to come where her gender is irrelevant, and is treated that way.
Also, this isn't the thread about the female lineswoman.

Everyone seems to forget that people treat men and women differently because they ARE different. Im not sexist, i believe in equality for all, but come on, its built into our dna to a certain extent.

EDIT: Just thought id remind people how bad it was/how far we have come in the last 30 years. Theres alot to be done, but making a meal out of comments said by an idiot jock and some other numpty aint really helping. sexism is the least of the problems in football.
