i think i can make a judgement about eminem. anyone who writes a song about pistol-whipping their ex-wife to death is a bad person. end of story.
dubmugga wrote:...text on the internet is less valuable cos hardly anybody uses their real names, offers up any real information about themselves, you can't look someone in the eye and gauge if they're lying, it's not written in stone and people are subject to change their opinions
don't believe the type...
so on the internet you act like this but in real life you act completely different? i dont see why real names or real information about a person is needed. your posts can be judged just the same as conversation with you in real life. also, i cant imagine why you would lie unless you find it fun to be troll.

i envy that you can make a definitive judgement on a person by a song they've written...
...but that says more about you than them as they may have had a change of heart but unless they wrote another tune about it you'd still hold your judgement
in real life i don't act i'm real. In virtual life as dubmugga I'm doing a job...
...it's all about boundaries and pushing them to the limits
if you want to get all psychobabalicious on me then perhaps point out what it is i'm acting like, why it's a bad thing or where im lying/trolling...
...but start another thread eh cos unless it relates to the thread or our beat then you just got dubmugged for the last time

well
maybe someone could be redeem theirself from that. but he hasnt done much to change my opinion about him.

you should just act like yourself on the internet rather than taking on some different personality, if that's the case.

well as i said before, you're very egotistical and it seems like you enjoy picking fights. i don't think it needs to be explained why those qualities are bad. you were the one that said lying was a possibility. and if you're just acting this way when you supposedly really aren't, then i'd call that trolling.
dubmugga wrote: you just got dubmugged for the last time
lol, i got "dubmugged"? you truely do have quite a high opinion of yourself.

Innit, he must place
some importance on the net, seeing as he goes out of the way to constantly point out that dubstep is the worlds first "internet-based" genre.

funny how the dubstep forum went down for the best part of a month and dmz still had their busiest night ever!

Funny thread...I don't even know where to start with that dubmugga clip.

For me, the best thing about ANY form of music is the option to follow or NOT follow the rules. People (with taste) will ALWAYS listen to the music they like...regardless, any style that is not listened to, supported, brought or played, will fall by the wayside. Personal choice is like our own form of natural selection. Drawing a line in the sand about the amount of beats per bar, or not, is pretty close minded.
Some people like big tits...others don't.
Some people like ALL tits.

We are audio terrorists creating mutant strains of a musical virus from the decomposing remains of previous strains and infecting the net with it. We are not hosts, we don't have a myspace or website, we are not carriers, we don't have a radio show or regular gigs...
We are high grade producers tucked away in lab creating fiendishly good tunes in our own inimitable style and promoting personal propaganda to highlight what we do
sorry blud but your pseudo-intellectual chat doesn't hide the fact that my cat can make a shit tune than you. your use of samples is frankly embarassing and the mixdown on them drums couldn't fight its way out of a wet paper bag.
don't label yourself a high-grade producer (unless as a sideline you grow vast quantites of good weed, and i doubt that your capable of even that).

Substitiute 'mental' for 'pointless'. Please, dubmugga, don't mouth off about half-finished beats - you only going to look like an arse and get beaten down. Maybe just keep quiet and come back in 6 months time with a finished tune that'll shut us all up, yeah?
Luke, are those out on hotflush or did I mis-read an earlier post?

that's teh point...
...even your cat can shit a basic halfstep beat and dress it up with a fat bass and farty effects then put it out as dubstep so expect a shitload more of that stuff. Next thing you know Mary anne Hobbs will be cranking out halfsteppas and pimping them on her blog

you seem to have a problem with the fact that "the dead truth" is barely more than a beat not a complete tune, I don't. The
BEAT is done...
...yes, it needs a good mixdown and master cos as is, it's spat straight out of the puter
the programming is the best part of it and the samples fit our philosophy...
...but i'm still waiting for someone to post a more original halfstep beat...
