Ahh, I missed the show?! :/ Disappointing.

Did DMZ go one deck all night? I tried to listen in but the technicals made me say forget it, the sound was off, too. The sub was just boomy and hallow. I'm sure Youngsta wasn't feeling that at all. So I went back to the Youngsta sets after tree trunk or horrid henry or whatever Coki track that was after Anti-War Dub.

Maybe I'm being daft but did sweat rally kill a deck, or was Pokes just trying to have a wind up? It didn't sound possible but someone has a shot of themselves on the decks with a fan, so...

On the other hand, it's a great opportunity to meet a lot of people you haven't seen in a long time and to network with new faces. It was an immense sweat box, I didn't bother going into room 1 that much after distance and tunnidge but lurked in the corridors outside so still was in ear shot of the tunes.

It was really humid inside so those deck problems you're hearing about were actually a result of sweaty party-goers.

Was a big night, I love DMZ.

Didn't get as drunk as I was hoping due to the long ass queue for the bars, but overall, 10/10.

DMZ is heavy.

HUGE night, so glad i made the trip out from the states for this. pissed i missed tunnidge otherwise though it was a fucking blast

don't think anyone was having a go at anyone besides benga and skream, the rest of what i heard prior was fantastic, big up boiler room for broadcasting it!

To be fair to them, from where I was stood, the brostep went down pretty well (a lot better than I thought it would at DMZ). You could definitely tell who the heads were though by their looks of bafflement mixed with utter disgust mixed with the sort of disappointment you may feel if your child dropped out of uni to go to clown school.

After KM and Youngsta, they put Hatcha and N-Type in room 2, no idea whether that was because of the deck problems, or because the place was starting to empty by then..

After all's said and done though, taking into account all the technical 'mares and the somewhat suspect track selection from Skream and Benga, I had a ridiculously awesome night, despite queueing to get in for 2 and a half hours (got to the queue at about 8:50...you guys don't kid when you say get there early!) which meant I missed Chef/Joe Nice AND Distance/Tunnidge (really gutted about that one!)

...i'm in bed but can't sleep. Have to be awake in 3 hours to go to the pub for the football! :s

First DMZ (of many I hope); 11/10! 'Normal' clubs just aren't gonna stand up after this

just listening to the upload, that part where the left deck goes off on eyez and you just hear swish come in is so good
was it just too hot in there or what? anyone know what actually happened.

Does anyone know the track starting at 1:15:16? It's so HUGE! First heard it in Mala's rbma set @ fabric, dying to know!

arghh basically, the left deck flopped a bit into digital mystikz set...they had to use one deck...supposedly it was the extreme heat mixed in with all the sweat precipitation that kept on making the needle slide (roughly what pokes was saying)...

after a while, artwork brought in another deck and they tried carrying on with 2 decks, the vibe was kinda off from then on unfortunately...horrid henry mollywhopped the dance at the end of their set tho

The problem was that it was soo hot in there because of body heat that it was evaporating the crowds sweat causing the roof to get moist, which was then bleeding onto the decks as Pokes said so perfectly.

And yes, thanks alot for the upload. Really hoping some1 recorded the Kryptic Minds & Youngsta set as well.

And if KM/yunx actually had to stop because of some attention seeking twat throwing water I hope he got whats coming to him. I want him to spend 10 mins in a room with just the female head bouncer from mass.
