Don't know why people mentioning the war putting the country into ruin. The economical reasons were pretty much the main motivations for going, it's more an investment than anything, however morally wrong it was.

I'm not saying one way or the other because when I first heard they had buried him at sea that quick I thought it was a little fishy myself. However the thought also occurred to me that by respecting the Muslim custom of a quick burial and not putting his body on display or some other such thing people mildly sympathetic to his cause might view as disrespectful to their religion they might be seeking to not stir up anymore blowback over this then what's already possibly going to happen?

From an Islamic point of view, if a Muslim dies, they are to be buried before sunset on the same day. But it is exempt in any country which doesn't follow shariah law as it clearly states within Islam that you must abide to the rules and governing laws of the country your reside in. So in Uk, there are autopsy's etc etc.

Fine, Americans have "respected" that and use it as their scapegoat to lie to the general public.

If he was killed today, they would have taken photos.

He was either killed 5/6 years ago, or is alive and well and under the protection by US government.

This now allows a perfect slide for Barrack for elections and an excuse to get into Pakistan.

A part of me knows that this is probably right but at the same time a part of me wishes that they did it out of some genuine form of cultural respect.

Yes. They have always worked with him.

Apparently, the compound was under surveillance since last Summer. Only now, while Obama was under political pressure that they decided to make a move. A little too convenient, don't you think? I do genuinely doubt that this is a real death or even if has been killed. He could have been killed long ago for all we know. They now want the world to believe that they buried him at sea. I don't.

Because of all this, Obama now gets his second term, or more so the people who put him there get his second term. The US administration also gets it's next war and thanks to this death, the backing of so many more Americans. Americans like the ones who are out celebrating but also the ones who are suffering because the country is crumbling under the financial strain of being at war for 10 years. This whole event is, in part, being used a psychological tool to coax the American people into believing spending so much on war actually works. It doesn't and it's not. The US administration needs to stop going to war. Your country is going broke.

So why kill him if they could have captured him?

On a basic level, for the same reason as the US. Greed.

Loving the mass skepticism on the events, though. Reading from mad friends on facebook how this all just doesn't add up. Good to see people aren't just eating it up.

Obviously, judging from a lot of the celebrations I've heard of, tons of people do buy it, but they seem rather offset by the amount of skepticism.
