I think you are picturing what I said incorrectly. I don't mean the exact spot that is face on to the sun and it's opposite side, but that the light affects an area to the plane of the earth that is greater than 180 degrees.

I`m in South Africa which is 1 hour behind England at the moment.
When daylight savings kicks in, that becomes 1 hour before.

The clues are in the fucking timezones. You're only 5-7 hours behind in the US. That's not a full day... of course it's still light here when it gets light there... we'd have to have a bit of a short day if it wasn't!

the worst accent i ever heard was this guy i knew who had this annoying camp mancunian (from manchester - north of england) accent, and then went to the US for a year at uni/college and came back with an awful combination of the two
