I thought she said flicky, flicky as well, but I watched the entire video on you tube and looked at the lyrics, but then again i just thought the rolling eyes "emoticon" had dissapeared. It was in my blind spot okay!!!

this is so, so wrong... almost all dance music is in 4/4 time for sure, but in rock/pop/jazz and pretty much everything else, 3/4 and 6/8 are almost as common.

When you say almost as common they're not really at all are they. I bet if you look in the top 40 there's no waltzes. And a lot of jazz would be swung triplets in 4/4 so not quite the same (could be 12/8 I suppose).

Really looking forward to an in-depth toss-arguing about this. I love the smell of pointless bandwidth use in the morning :D

Not morning tho is it soldier? yeah I get my info off my brother (sound engineer), so although its second hand and is quite smoky, it's usually got some sort of basis in truth.

Pretty much every album I own that's not dance music has at least two or three tracks that aren't 4/4.

Obviously 4/4 is the most common, but that was true hundreds of years ago as well, nothing new about it.

Yeah, but not including the art wank stuff. You know, tune's the milkman whistles. I've never heard a milkman whistle in waltz time (and there's some pretty good whistling milkmen out there, quite a talent pool I reckon)

Bare of my records don't even have a time signature. You get me? Art bruv. Dirty installation business.

Exactly... time signatures? Fuck off. Conventional tonality? GET OUT. I do what I like mate, that's why I'm art.

Yeah man. To define it is to limit it. Consistancy is the last refuge of the unimaginative. Cats

Yeah, I just recorded myself vomiting into my own faeces and then screaming at a bin bag. I then spat contempt on the cd and buried it under a dead dog - NOW THAT'S WHAT I CALL MUSIC (even though music is essentially a bourgeois construct - I use the term in a post-ironic sense)

Instruments are so reactionary I find - no place in todays sonic palette

Proper musicians are essentially fascists stopping the free expression of the downtrodden - JOG ON YOU FUCKIN sizan

Wagner was a musician and Hitler thought he was cool. If that doesn't prove it what does :o

Art is suicide. Limitations are the bridge you jump off.
