Oh. I see. Well, you've convinced me! Now I'm going to throw away Logic and go buy Reason!

he didn't make the switch. he is using both at the same time.
Honestly man, quit talking negatives about reason, its not better or worse, its different. They recently, if I am correct, made working with audio tonnnsss easier. VSTs aren't a necessity. I hardly find myself using VSTs, just stock plugs, and I am running FL Studio. Plus, Reason's plugs are better than FL's stock plugs. And I think the workflow in Reason is pretty nice. I haven't used it but I've seen videos. I love the modular routing system, I wish FL had more of that.

Alright just clarifying, I meant absolutely no hate to Reason or Reason users, my bad I was just playfully emulating that DAW Wars Debate thread that was going through here for a while.
Yeah but why would Reason shut off the VST option? That seems like a no brainer to me!
Is it a stability thing?
And Eat Bass only uses Reason as a plug bc of its great stock synths

I would find it a bit comforting, knowing that many famous artists who use reason did what they did without any expensive external plugins.

I know, I talk to him on AIM often...but this is what I mean, Reason's plugins are really well done.

About 20% of the way through a remix. Still no 2nd drop, or synthesis of any kind, I've been building the atmosphere on this for about a week
SO MANY INCIDENTALS

Sonika wrote:Yeh ditto ^ the switching. Why? Other DAWs can do it better. Why would you purposefully add that shit feature?
Because the two views serve different functions. The clip launcher view is for live use while the session view is more for structuring a production.
