Its 8% abv which I would never age something under 10, especially an IPA. But, this one was super good.

I was saying that in reference to the wife beater beer reputation it seems to have in England. I've only sipped on them in clubs, never gotten pissed on it. Maybe it does have a certain kind of drunk...

Gadgie is decent. Mordue is real close to us have been on Summer Tyne last few months. It's weak but smoooth


Have been drinking loads of fruit beers recently (no homo). I prefer ones like zimmermans peach or berry, where they are still quite bitter and sharp. Had Krieg on fri, was nice but too sweet, similar to the sam smiths fruit beers that are quite new.

I believe it has that reputation over here, because alot of people that generally tend to drink it, drink around 15 pints of the stuff in a matter of hours.
And consequentially get a little bit punchy towards closing time...
