Doesn't really amaze me, it changes it's form and focus but it's there for a lot of people throughout their lives. Just look at the Daily Mail - the evil "them/they" vs the victimised "us". Class hatred, anti-immigration, anti-anything different. Easier being in a group, stops all those tricky thought processes.

yeah JJ is spot on, corse 'new rave' never existed, its an in-joke that got taken out of hand. But non the less there are a bunch of disperate camps of people around trying to do something fun and cool with varying amounts of success and credebility. Some of them are playing some incredible music. No need to sum it up in a tidy package just to write it off for no reason. Some people might think its a bit sad to stand around listening to samey drab wobblebass music all night long, but they dont know about the vibrance and fun of dubstep. You lot would all get up in arms about people being ignorant in that way so what makes these reactionary comments about "a bunch of nobs in colourful clothes being gay" any less insulting?
I've heard some seriuos "new rave" hate coming from the dubstep scene before and it just amazes me how people can still be so obsessed with categorising people into camps and tribes like we're all still in year 9 of secondary school or whatever

this is a fun tune.
something that dubstep is lacking.
i am down if a tune can bring more boobies to the crowd.
the vocals pretty annoying, but overall i like it.

He is a massive fan of the Klaxons, has loved them since he first heard them! Originally loved this track and was absolutely thrilled to have the opportunity of remixing it!

wouldn't dubstep be more of an "accepting" scene if no-one cared if people are dressed up or not? Seems like assuming people dress up because they want to get recognised as "cool" is a bit judgemental, not accepting. People can wear what the fcuk they like surely?
my tuppence: I like the Klaxons tune (even though I'm too old), and the Skream remix is a-ight too. Not so sure about the original, but it'd probably make me grin if it came on the radio.

Of course they can! personally i'd love it if loads of ppl from any sub-cultures (or whatever) came to dubstep raves, it would create a really interesting and exciting atmosphere. all i'm interested in is keeping the music Number 1.
alot of the stuff i see coming from indie and "nu rave" (or whatever) scenes nowadays seems to be less and less about the music and the way it makes you feel and more and more about the "look" that goes with their "image".
