ketchup is ok in small doses. too much of it covers other, more subtle flavors. its really vinegary
mixing it with mayo for fry sauce is pretty bomb tho

I fucking eat this with a fork. By itself.
So good.
Ketchup... not really. I prefer chips/fries dry or with mayo if I'm feeling fatty.

Yeah man, there's a place in Leeds that do 'em chicago style with the pickle spear, mustard, that weird relish and all that. No ketchup. Don't mind the stuff myself but you've gotta respect the source!

it's cool. Funnily enough, I don't like ketchup on fries.
Man... I wouldn't mind a good American hot dog right about now.

When I eat ketchup I imagine it to taste as it did at it's inception, traditional indian concoction made with south african spices. It must have been orders of magnitude better than what it has become. (as all things seem to be) That is the phantasy I conjure to cover the cornsyrup and plastic tomato mash that is still a requisite of a good burger, maybe only to honor the forgoten history of something once so great, and now so pore. Taste the loss and remember a different world.
