Yeah that was my fear, that the stuff I wanna play would be hated, and the stuff I hate is what they want me to play.
And my producing is more of a secret, only my closer friends know I make dubstep and most don't care too much, unless they like one of my songs.

I've had my share of shitty dance DJing experiences, tried to play AWD and some shackleton at my school dance, you would have thought those kids saw the face of god they cleared the floor so fast

I'm on a pair of CDJ200s and a basic denon mixer and a stanton turntable, nothing fancy at all but it does the job ya know? I got them for a really good price too

I'm more into production anyways


Just keep your eyes open on craigslist and something will pop up. I'm saving up for a pair of technics right now, that shit's expensive but I much prefer mixing with vinyl than anything else even though I've only got the chance to do it a couple times

And at first I wanted to DJ on dvs and buy some vinyl's of my fav tunes, but recently with my behringer bcr2000 + Traktor, I've been doing 3 channel mixing and I like that more than 2 channel mixing.
