They really aren't.

They share references primarily considered as being of the Abram tradition (Abraham, Ibrahim and Avraham being the same person)

There are pretty significant differences though. The New Testament isn't important in any way to Judaism nor is the Koran. All three reference the Old Testament but the Torah has only 5 books from genesis through to dueteronomy.

The world is busy fighting itself because there are a lot of dickheads. If people weren't fighting over theological interpretation (it does happen just not as often as claimed) they'd be fighting over something else.

Yeah I was referencing Jboy, they aren't the same though they share a common heritage, there's a difference.

One thing I find interesting about religion/faith is that many cultures from across the globe stretching way back through history have some sort of notion of god/gods. Incas and Inuits wouldn't have had contact before yet they both have their own version of gods who they believe to be more powerful than themselves.

I don't think it's that simple and I think theological arguments can be quite complex.

It's arguably a part of it but not the main part and not the part that's important

I understand that but I find it fascinating how so many different cultures came up with such similar explanations

They're only superficially similar though unless they share a heritage of sorts.

Like if you're a primitive people your limited with the amount of stuff you can worship really. The absence of infinite choice makes an overlap inevitable
