The Will.I.Am hate is shortsighted. Guy's a diverse and talented motherfucker who uses it to earn serious money while also producing tracks you more than likely really dug over the past few years.

Justin Timberlake & the first John Legend album were both pretty decent.

He only produced couple of tunes off them too, and not the particularly memorable ones. That list is mainly made up of awful artists or incredibly mediocre tracks by borderline-acceptable artists. The only tune on there worth listening to since about 2004 is John Legend - Ordinary People.

Bridging The Gap is still a decent album, but BEP fell off BADLY right around the time they thought it was a good idea to put Fergie on their records.

Also:

Michael Jackson: Thriller 25
"The Girl Is Mine 2008" (feat. will.i.am)
"P.Y.T. (Pretty Young Thing) 2008" (feat. will.i.am)
"Beat It 2008" (feat. Fergie)

What a C U N T!

I flicked on viva or 4music or something the other day, there was a countdown of "William's top 10 dopest productions." It made me cry a bit. By a bit, I mean a lot. Nothing to do with him directly I don't imagine, but still.

I think it's just this superstar producer craze (anyone who can program a 4x4 beat and write a I-IV-V progression with a trancy synth sound) at the moment irks me a bit.

Will I Am pisses me the h3ll off, but for some reason I liked Fergies solo album, or at least the singles from it.

the good stuff off futuresex/lovesounds was all timbaland imo, probably the last good stuff he's done that i remember...

ordinary people is literally the only one on there that's good, and let's face it. it would have been pure shit if will.i.am had actually sung on it.

Straight up...Cause we love technology! And after you get the hang of it, through a few years or months or however long you actually practice, even in a year... It starts to sound pretty good.

It's also hard to pull a live band of 4 people together to make music now a day's, never as good as we used to be' Though there are a few.

The Timbaland bits of BOTH Timberlake albums (I'm assuming he's just done two solos?) are superb.

But Timberland has done the occasional great thing since doh:
