My facebook newsfeed has been in the vein of this as well, people posting about the threatened secessions and what not..
Ridiculous. It's terrible because nobody knows what they are talking about, especially the "Well America is going to die now", and I ask "why?" and people just complain about how Obama is evil, etc.., I still have no clue why people really believe our country is ruined? I'm just assuming it's immature over dramatics but I'd like to be wrong.
I mean, I got into a discussion with someone who disagreed with me about certain issues, but I actually respected his argument and didn't doubt his intelligence afterwards, so I'd like to think I'm not close minded.
And the lack of credible sources (or any sources at all) to all these self-entitled USA hating statuses (by US citizens) makes me want to jump out my window.
People just can't seem to grasp the fact that the president doesn't make all the decisions in the country, and that our behavior and spending habits affect a lot more than what he does. (Especially people on welfare/foodstamps/etc. who aren't trying to better their situation bitching about Obama ruining the economy...)

cheers for the honesty bruv
HOOOOOL' UP.
I really don't think Skream & Benga had this agenda.
The Dub and the Dubstep are two different animals man. And Further more, the Dub and the Reggae are two different animals...

so some key west guy write's fuck obama on his will then kills himself
A Key West man who told his partner that "if Barack gets re-elected, I'm not going to be around" was found dead on Nov. 8, with the words "F--- Obama!" scrawled on his will and two empty prescription bottles nearby.
Henry Hamilton, 64, owner of Tropical Tan off Duval Street, was "very upset about the election results," his partner Michael Cossey told Police Officer Anna Dykes.
Police spokeswoman Alyson Crean said a cause of death is awaiting autopsy results from the Monroe County Medical Examiner's Office but said, "There's absolutely no evidence of foul play."
According to Dykes' report, Cossey returned to the South Roosevelt Boulevard condo he shared with Hamilton after a late night of playing cards with friends and fell asleep on the couch around 6 a.m.
A friend of Hamilton had been worried about him and had a standing request to police to make welfare checks. Officer Pablo Rodriguez did just that and when he went to the condo, he woke up Cossey, prompting the discovery of Hamilton's body in the bedroom.
Dykes reported finding two empty prescription bottles, one for Xanax and one for Seroquel, used to treat anxiety and schizophrenia, respectively.
Cossey told police Hamilton "has been very stressed about his business," and the last time they had spoken was "when we watched the election results" on Nov. 6.
President Obama, a Democrat, defeated Republican challenger Mitt Romney to win a second four-year term.

^ This reminds me of people blaming heavy metal for causing teen suicide.
I mean, if you're worked up and not right, you're gonna blame it on whatever you've loaded with meaning
a priori - your football team losing the championship, your wife/job problems, whatever. Killing yourself and saying someone else made you do it though? RETARDED.

The thing is, people are really falling out over this election. I really believe these people have lived with the fox artificial reality for the past 4 years, and when that reality bubble popped, many many people had a sort of schizophrenic episode.

Romney Blames Loss on Obama’s ‘Gifts’ to Minorities and Young Voters
http://thecaucus.blogs.nytimes.com/2012 ... ng-voters/
brylcreem wrote:“You can imagine for somebody making $25,000 or $30,000 or $35,000 a year, being told you’re now going to get free health care, particularly if you don’t have it, getting free health care worth, what, $10,000 per family, in perpetuity — I mean, this is huge,” Mr. Romney said.
Totally totally untrue. Just for me as an individual obamacare costs me $5,800 a year.
These people cannot seem to exit the bubble! Reality just does not matter to them at all. I really hope they stay the fuck in there, and fade into irrelevancy.

answer me these questions
1) Do rasta believe they are children of israel?
2) Do rasta believe Jerusalem is the birthright of israel?
3) If you told a rasta that Israel was not entitled to said land, what king would they mention they are descendants of?

thanks for not obliterating me i guess, not gonna answer these questions, we both know the answers that'd be boring. we also both know you're using the fact rastafarism is (very loosely) based on the old testament as a fallacy to equate rastafarism and zionism in its modern war-mongering, oppressive expression.
as a sidenote, since anyone can convert to rastafarism and become as such another "children of israel" equally entitled to the promised land, is a palestinian rastafari authorized to cross the wall or how does that work ?
i am open to discussion, but sorry to disappoint, you'll need stronger arguments than "but bob marley sang iron, lion, zion, so it totally means that he was moshe dayan's buddy and they had lunch on a weekly basis"
a comparative study of haile selassie's anti-war speech in the UN in 1936 and netanyahu's "lets bomb iran, they have nuclear weapons, look i made a diagram" speech, highlighting the similarities in both ideologies, will suffice.

Rastas are an ignorant religion the same as any else. If you think they'd be any less militant about Ethiopia and new Jerusalem you're a fucking moron.
My point was that Zion means the same thing, birthright land to the children of Israel a place for heaven on earth. If you're against Zionism then you're against it. Your problem seems to be with the Israeli government and you seem too stupid to distinguish them.
You can be a Zionist and not support its implementation by Israelis.
