The Bigfoot EP was found in an underwater cave off the coast of Indonesia inside a gold capsule in late 2007. Its contents were traced back to the elusive studio of BD1982 and have been released to the public for interpretation. While the sounds of The Bigfoot EP are varying, there is a consistent focus on texture. “A Shining” begins with a driving euphoria where “Coelacanth Town” takes on a more aggressive approach to invade the dancefloor. “Wooder Ice” revels in funky breakdowns while “Last Train” is a throwback to mid-February nights at Shin-Tanabe Station with a little more focus on sub-frequency. The Bigfoot EP is surely in need of further speculation and should be considered a high priority of the early 21st century Street Bass Crypto-Analytical Purists.

Originally establishing his name in the Philly area, and now roaming about in Queens, BD1982 has been in the music game for a good minute. After years of producing, DJ’ing and a long running radio show known as Bass Tecktonics, he’s recently had exclusive tracks featured on the Street Bass Anthems Vol.1 and Vol.2 mixtapes, by Dev79 and Starkey respectively. This has afforded him a higher level of exposure and he’s been receiving much praise for his contributions. BD1982 relates music to the study of cryptozoology in that producing is “a form of searching for the unknown beasts of the world, just in a way that works as a soundtrack to memorable points in life.” BD1982 continues this exploration both in production and DJ appearances from NYC to Japan.

Seclusiasis is a multi-faceted company based out of Philadelphia.
Seclusiasis has been rocking club events, radio shows, mixtapes and more since 1999. The Seclusiasis crew roster includes Dev79, Starkey, Stumble, BD1982, Generic Man, and Saint B. The first release in Seclusiasis’ new digital music line was a split single by Starkey and Dev79 entitled Street Bass Singles, which featured original tracks with MC’s Elixir and Edu K, taken from their Street Bass Anthems mixtapes.
