to anyone wondering if a name sounds great :
If your music is great, your name will sound great. look at producer with a name that seems classy, but truth is it sounds that way because their music is awesome.

mine came from some criteria :
2 syllables -> easy to say/remember (most of brand names follow that rule)
a double "A" somewhere, cause I find it original.

brainstorm. once i had the idea I kept on thinking about it for 2 weeks before finally changing (this is not my first alias)

This is the best answer. My name is a pun of a Rodney Dangerfield joke. My old name was just my initials stylized. Pick something you're into, combine it with your real name somehow, and mis-spell it and there you go. If you're in to Power Rangers, your name is Mighty Morfa. Or if your name is Larry Fitzgerald, your name is La Fitz. It's easy.

I've been going by the name QuiZNo (sometimes as TheQuiZNoKid for no reason at all) for about 9 years now. No relation to the restaurant. (I've never even eaten there before.) To be fair when I started using this name there weren't any of those restaurants around me as far as I know. So I was unaware at the time. I dunno some dude called me it one day and I started to use it as my internet handle for games and everything else. It grew on me and became almost as close to me as my real name. It was only natural that I continued to use it as a producer name since I already used it as a name for everything else.

It's sort of a bastardisation of my real name and my nickname whislt I was at uni.

I used to take acid frequently and a friend of mine came up with the nickname acidrat for me because I was constantly on it at that period of time. When creating my sc account I thought it would be funny to use it, I couldn't really come up with anything decent.

i have been told throught my school years i have a random personality. So the nickname rando was brought on to me, i signed up on this forum and rando was already taken, and it suggested randorando.

A lot of how i make my music, as well as go through my days is through deep thought. I sit down, and i think my way through the day. which sounds odd. but I also do a lot of personal theorizing. Also, my family is Irish and damn proud of it...so my name, Teoiric, is the Irish word for theory.
