That's an excerpt, full version is more than 20 minutes long with some ups and downs. The passage from Tree of Life begins at 1:30
they were from the long scenes of the genesis right? i was stunned in the cinema by so much beauty.

Yeah, the music goes very well with the scene, I was quite struck too although they seemed to come out of nowhere and the shot with the dinosaurs made me go "oh boy"

Edit: While I'm at it this is definitely in my top 10 somewhere

I know Rachmaninoff is more known for his piano concertos than for his symphonies but this is just glorious

This kid he can play. Had a CD out last year of solo cello music from Ligeti, Kodály, Gaspar Cassadó, and some other dude lol. Good stuff.
